Welcome!  IGCA is non-profit 501 (c)(3), all volunteer organization is dedicated to aiding those Italian Greyhounds that are less fortunate.   We are dedicated to finding appropriate, loving homes as well as providing support for new owners of the dogs.

Please thoroughly research the breed before considering adoption.  Italian Greyhounds are not for everyone.  The IGCA website is an excellent resource.

We need foster homes.  We have had a large influx of Italian Greyhounds in the past few months.  If you are interested, feel free to contact us.

We have a local artist who has given her time and effort to make a pendant for us.  The pendant is silver and about 1.5 inches in diameter.  We are selling it for $60.  The artist can also put a dogs name on the pendant instead of IG Rescue.
The profits from this sale will go to things that are not reimbursed from rescue.  These can include microchips, heartworm medicine, food, and supplements.
One of our customers decided to use the pendant as an ID tag for her Iggie.  We can put a dogs name and phone number on the pendant.

We are also selling shirts to benefit our resuce.  Here is the pics of the shirts.  They are available in small, medium and large. The drawing was done by Katherine Klimitas, a New Orleans artist that is so talented and a great Iggy mom.  Please contact me at jsr721@gmail.com if you are interested in purchasing one and to get the colors we have available.  They are $20 and the money goes to buying microchips and heartworm meds for our foster dogs.
